About the Movie
Mississippi Grind is a 2015 American road movie and gambling drama directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. It follows Gerry, a down-on-his-luck gambler, and Curtis, a charismatic drifter, as they travel down the Mississippi River chasing high-stakes poker games and big wins. Along the way, their friendship is tested by addiction, lies, and personal failures. Despite small victories, both men struggle to escape their self-destructive habits.
